Mary Anne Gerstner

Mary Anne Gerstner opened Law Offices Gerstner & Gerstner in Chicago in 1992 with Attorney John W. Gerstner, her husband, who has retired. Mary Anne’s experience includes civil litigation, personal injury, real estate, business transactions, employment matters, and wills and trusts. Mary Anne is also a trained Mediator.

Mary Anne has represented clients in State and Federal Courts in civil litigation, including personal injury and business and employment litigation, before administrative agencies, including the Illinois Department of Labor and the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and in mediations and arbitrations, including American Arbitration Association Commercial Arbitration, American Arbitration Association Employment Arbitration, and more. Mary Anne has represented employers and employees in connection with covenants not to solicit, confidentiality agreements, trade secrets, and employment discrimination. Mary Anne’s corporate and real estate experience includes business law, contracts, and real estate transactions. In the employment area, Mary Anne prepares employment agreements, covenants not to solicit, confidentiality agreements, and other workplace and employment materials.
